About Me

I'm Sandy - a writer, storyteller and jack-of-all-trades digital content specialist. I've worked over nine years in digital media. My experience includes web and app development, visual design, content planning, digital marketing, editorial strategy, and writing.

I grew up as the oldest of three in metro Atlanta. Creativity was a big part of my life growing up. My parents encouraged me to read books, and when I wasn't swimming or riding my bike, I spent parts of my childhood summers putting on plays with my friends.

I attended the University of Georgia to study English. From there, I ventured up north to attend graduate school at Northwestern University. I studied interactive publishing at the Medill School of Journalism.

An interest in sports and a dream to live in California took me out west to work for CBS Interactive. From there, I spent five seasons on the digital squad at the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. Now during the week, I spend my days working for Atlanta United Football Club as a member of the digital team. 

I consider myself very fortunate being able to pursue different opportunities all over the country, but Georgia will always be home to me. Nothing makes me happier than spending a Saturday afternoon watching UGA football and cheering on the Dawgs with my loved ones.
